Pillow Talk

Pillow Talk is a project aiming to connect long distance lovers. Each person has a ring sensor they wear to bed at night, and a flat fabric panel which slots inside their pillowcase. The ring wirelessly communicates with the other person’s pillow; when one person goes to bed, their lover’s pillow begins to glow softly to indicate their presence. Placing your head on the pillow allows you to hear the real-time heartbeat of your loved one.

The result is an intimate interaction between two lovers, regardless of the distance between them.

Pillow Talk is the project that led to the formation of Little Riot. After being featured on Gizmodo, the project went viral and has since received 400,000+ views on Youtube and directed 40,000+ hits to where it was originally published on JoannaMontgomery.com

We have just secured initial funding to develop an industrial prototype of the product. This is a key step in steering this product towards market and is hopefully the start of many exciting opportunities to come.

We're almost ready to hit the market but we're currently lacking the funds to begin manufacturing. If you love Pillow Talk, you can contribute to its development and speed up the process. Unfortunately, Kickstarter won't accept us because we are not based in America, so all we can offer is a PayPal Donate button! If everyone who likes Pillow Talk can donate a dollar or two, we will be in production before you know it. Every cent counts, but the most generous contributors will receive priority when we need beta testers (along with those who voted for us in the Smarta Awards, of course).

You can also follow the development of Pillow Talk by 'liking' our page on Facebook. We're really keen to hear your thoughts and input - we are, after all, designing this for you - so please get involved and help shape Pillow Talk into a product you will really love.
